I live in Australia, Dzagbe, and I taught primary school for many years. Most of our circle dances were simple ones like the Hokey Pokey, often with a song that accompanied them. With older children, we would often use Australian bush dances like heel-toe polka, strip the willow etc.

Such a lovely idea! Circle dances can also be so exhilarating - I love them. Great idea for the London Olympics, too.
